FIREWORKS DISPLAY - SUNDAY 3rd NOVEMBER 2019
The Annual Orleans Park School fireworks event was a fantastic success again! Delighted to announce that we raised £10k for the school. It was amazing to see so many local families out and about and with increasingly tight school budgets it's a great way to raise much needed funds to help offer additional resources and activities for our children. Thanks to our busy team of volunteers including parents, kids and teachers the food, drinks, ticketing, safety, organisation, setup, tidy up etc which all did a brilliant job once again. Many thanks to all that helped, shopped and watched. The next date is already scheduled in - booking opens a few weeks before. Please offer to help for an hour or two next time to help things go with a bang: Contact Us.
Would you like to help us with Rugby Parking?
New stewards are always welcome!! We also need help to organise and run the fireworks display.
Parents: Rugby parking is a great earner for our school, making us a grand total of over £37,000 in the last four years. Here’s one parent’s view of why should should give up a couple of hours of the occasional Saturday morning to help park cars:

PTA-UK is a national charity which represents over 13,000 PTAs across the UK. OPSA is a member and uses PTA-UK for advice and insurance.
In changing our constitution the aims, or objects, of OPSA have not changed. Our aims are still
- to advance the education of the pupils of Orleans Park through developing effective relationships between the staff and parents.
- to provide facilities and activities which enhance the education of pupils at the school.
The benefits of moving to the new Constitution are:
- It ensures that the way OPSA operates is fully aligned with current legislation affecting PTAs
- It is less prescriptive and allows the way OPSA operates to evolve over time as the school changes (for example, the old constitution only covers years 7-11).
